The Welsh community in Bangkok is understandably proud of its heritage. Named after the patron Saint of Wales, the annual St David\u2019s Society Charity Ball was founded way back in 1976, so it was time to celebrate its 40th Anniversary in style at Bangkok\u2019s Amari Watergate Hotel Ballroom.<\/p>\n
The country of Wales may be small but it packs a big punch when it comes to rugby, castles, sheep, music \u2013 notably Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey and famous actors like Richard Burton, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Timothy Dalton and Catherine Zeta-Jones.<\/p>\n
